You know what? You’re kids don’t have to eat meat at every meal. They need protein, but not meat. Hot dogs don’t really count as either, anyway.
Boiled egg, watermelon, broccoli, dip and pistachios.
Today, we look at lunch in the car without stopping at the drive-thru.
Let’s take a look inside B’s lunch box.
I usually pack my kids’ lunches FULL. For us, if there’s a time when they’re not eating at home, it’s probably a time when they’re exerting themselves either me tally or physically. If they aren’t hungry for all of it, they’ll leave some, but more often than not, it’s all gone. They also get variety without crap. They can’t just eat their oatmeal cream pie and then say they’re full.
PB&J on a leftover croissant (Kids will eat PB&J on anything if they like it. Mix up your breads.), whole grain crackers broccoli, Caesar dip, grapes and pistachios.
Stir everything together. Put it all in a blender and blend until the anchovies are combined. Refrigerate at least for one hour before serving.
AND the winner of the Dark Places book giveaway generated via random.org is Micah!! I’ll be emailing you soon to get your info! Congrats!
Let’s get started with Sunday!
